Forget to Begin - The Hampdens ..

The band name the hampdens is taken from Hampden College in Donna Tartt’s novel “the Secret History”. The book focuses on a group of college kids embroiled in a pagan cult. The hampdens are Gav, Susannah and Jules. Gav and Jules drove across the Nullabor in 2002 and met Susannah in Melbourne when she’d just turned 17 and talked her into starting a band with them.
